Age Relaxation Criteria for CSS 2026 Exam: Pakistan’s Federal Public Service Commission has established a few guidelines for the CSS exam. These limitations align with the FPSC guidelines, including the age limit and age relaxation criteria for the CSS examination. However, the FPSC may change the guideline; December 31 of the year before the test is the deadline (cut-off date) for all age-related requirements, qualifications, residency, etc.
CSS age limit 2026
- The age limit for the CSS exam is 21 to 30 years.
- The minimum age till December 31, 2025, should be 21 years.
- The maximum age till December 31, 2025, should be 30 years.
Age Relaxation Criteria for the CSS Exam?
Age relaxation depends on different factors. Here are the main points:
- Government Employees: If you have worked for the government for two years, you get a 2-year age relaxation.
- Kashmiri Nationals: People from Azad Kashmir also get a 2-year relaxation.
- KPK Candidates: Those from special districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa get 2 years.
- Balochistan Candidates: All candidates from Balochistan get 2 years.
- Buddhist & Scheduled Castes: These groups get a 2-year relaxation with proper proof.
- Disabled Candidates: If you have a disability certificate, you get 2 years.
- Northern Areas Residents: A 2-year relaxation is available with a certificate from the concerned authority.
- Contract & Government Workers: Government employees with at least 2 years of service, armed forces personnel, and contract workers can get relaxation with a Departmental Permission Certificate.
Date of Birth Proof
You must provide one of the following documents to confirm your date of birth:
- Your date of birth on Matriculation Certificate (Matric Result)
- Secondary or Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- Birth Certificate (for Christian candidates, a baptismal certificate can be used)
- School Admission Register Record (for “O” level or similar exams)
