What is CSS?

The CSS (Central Superior Services) exam in Pakistan is a prestigious and challenging exam that selects candidates for various government jobs. These jobs are in different departments and ministries at the federal level. The exam is conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).

The CSS exam includes compulsory subjects totaling 600 marks, which every candidate must take. Additionally, there are around 45 optional subjects from which candidates must select subjects that add up to another 600 marks.

What is PMS Exam?

The Provincial Management Service (PMS) is an essential part of Pakistan’s provincial administration. PMS officers are key in managing provincial affairs, ensuring effective governance, and promoting development. Furthermore, despite facing various challenges, their contributions are vital for the progress and stability of Pakistan’s provinces.

The PMS exam includes six compulsory subjects, each carrying 100 marks, thus making a total of 600 marks for this section. Furthermore, there are seven groups of optional subjects, with a total of 30 subjects available, each worth 200 marks.
