Subjects in the PCS Exam
Subjects of PCS Exam in Pakistan.
SUBJECTS OF PCS EXAM INCLUDE COMPULSORY SUBJECTS OF PCS AND OPTIONAL SUBJECTS OF PCS EXAM. OF CANDIDATES FOR THE BALOCHISTAN CIVIL SERVICE AND BALOCHISTAN SECRETARIAT SERVICE.
What is the PCS Exam?
The BPSC (Baluchistan Public Service Commission) organizes the PCS Examination based on the available job openings. Unlike the CSS exams, the BPSC does not hold these examinations every year. They take place only when the Provincial Government announces vacancies to the Commission, which then sets the exam date.
In the past, before the devolution plan, the Commission used to conduct a combined exam for the positions of Section Officer and Assistant Commissioner. However, starting in 2007, the BPSC began conducting the exams for BCS (EB) and BSS separately. They anticipate holding the next exam in 2008, and they expect it to be a combined exam for BCS (EB) and BSS.
