PMS Age Requirement

The PMS Age Relaxation Rules are as follows:

• The upper age restriction will be 35 years old for federal government employees. Also, those who are domiciled in Punjab and working for the Punjab government. Moreover, they have worked for the government for at least four years.
• The Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976, allow authorities to grant a maximum 10-year relaxation in the upper age limit to unique individuals. This provision helps accommodate exceptional circumstances in the recruitment process

Important Note:

According to the recent announcement, the Punjab government’s S&GAD notice specifies that the Punjab Delegation of Powers (Relaxation of Age) Rules, 1961, will not apply to government posts requiring a combined competitive examination conducted by the PPSC.
